Returns Policy

Due to the nature or the items we sell, generally all are ‘sold as is’, and priced accordingly with that in mind.

Most items will have little to no warranty available. However, we want our customers to have a great experience. So we provide a 14 day returns policy for tech items sold and will either replace or provide a store credit to the amount paid on a case by case basis. A receipt or proof of sale is required.

We make sure to check our secondhand items work, clean them and we test them as best we can with any cables/attachments available.

Our lamps and many electrical devices are tagged & tested.

Some items may not be fully tested, and some may look in great condition and then may break later. That is nature of secondhand items. Please call us as soon as possible if you have an issue and we will accommodate as best we can.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. You will need to provide a receipt or proof of sale too.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

  • – Perishable goods such as plants and succulents.
  • – Products that are intimate or sanitary goods
  • – Hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
  • – Books with obvious signs of use
  • – Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts.
  • – Any item that is returned more than 14 days after purchase

Additional non-returnable items:

  • – Gift cards
  • – Paint
  • – Cleaning products & pesto control
  • – Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, a manager will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied and noted in the ‘credits book’.

Exchanges

We only replace items if the purchased item was defective or damaged. We will approve whether it can be exchanged for any item of comprable value.

Shipping Returns & Ebay

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Treasure Chest Salvage, 14 Keegan  Street, O’Connor WA 6163, Australia.

Usually, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
